I sat in bed almost all of Sunday, reading and re-reading your book.  It was so moving and powerful!  I especially liked the way you tied everything in to spirituality and faith in God.  We in AA believe that recovery cannot begin until we have turned our lives and wills over to a Higher Power, and I could relate very strongly to the passages about forgiveness and healing.
 
You have performed a spontaneous work of generosity and love in creating this book.  I know there are thousands upon thousands of people out there that need the message you are sending, and I pray that each person that needs it will receive it.  Whatever it takes to end the cycle of abuse, that's what we women of vision have to do.

Without Permission is extremely inspiring!! I couldn't put the book down once I began reading.Thank you for sharing your life with so many of us who go through doubt/pain/suffering in our lives.  There are many topics still viewed as taboo in the church. Sexual abuse is one of them. Sharon R. Wells brings much needed light to this subject as she courageously explores her own battle with this issue. Sharon’s transparency with this remarkable piece of literary genius will no doubt inspire, encourage, and uplift those struggling with their own demons while opening dialogue on a subject that needs to be addressed in the kingdom.
