Reflections of Hope
“Never Give Up”
Sometimes things happen in your life
you feel it just isn’t fair,
the burdens you carry that weigh you down
it makes life so hard to bare.
Faith will give you strength to recover
because of the promise that was made to you,
Along with those precious memories of the past
of all the things you use to do.
Whenever you are feeling down and out
and you feel you need a friend,
just reach out to those who love you
and they will support you to the end.
The light in your life may seem dim right now
you're having a hard time finding your way,
just remember no matter what the problem is
there will always be a brighter day.
“Life”
In life we can accept things we cannot change
or let life pass us by. Especially when faced with difficult times
have faith and give life another try.
When life holds so many burdens for us
we tend to find someone else to blame,
if we could reach deep down within ourselves
our lives would surely change.
The mind is such a delicate thing
things may not be the way they seem,
if we don’t keep our minds alert
we will never wake up from this dream.
Yes, all things are truly possible
if only we believe,
Try and find your purpose in life
the many blessings you will receive.
Open your heart and find the love
and know that you have been blessed,
remember we all are going through something
because this is just part of the test.
“Branch Out”
Let not your heart be troubled
even when things make you sad,
Explore the possibilities in your life
the excitement should make you glad.
Life has so much to offer
even when we get in a bind,
you really owe it to yourself
it is time to make up your mind.
There will always be someone to cheer you on
and someone to encourage you,
to help you get back on track again
to make life a little easier too.
Toss out all of the old things
add meaning to the life you choose,
Branch out and take that step forward
what do you have to lose.
