1) hello my name is kimberly,first i want to say congrats to you,can i get some advice please from you.i am a single christian 29 year old woman with no kids.i desire to have a husband one day.i am tired of running into men that lie and abuse me physically.im at a point where i dont trust men because of the lies i have been told over and over and been used.i desire to have a christian God fearing man with no gay tendencies 1 day.please email me some advice.could you please pray for me regarding been patient and waiting on God.this is greatly appreciated Comment By Kimberly B - April 14, 2010 3:16 PM

2) Hi Kimberly B. and thank you for your question and for being so courageous by posting it. Many times when we look for a mate, we end up with someone who only temporarily fills our void. Not to mention the unwanted issues that can come along with the relationship such as abuse, which we didn't expect or ask for. I believe that we should wait for God to bring us our mate and we must be patient in the meantime. It is good to begin preparing yourself mentally and spiritually to have the same qualities within that you desire in your mate. God will place that person in your life when he feels the time is right. There is a bible verse, Proverbs 18:22, that says "He who findeth a wife, findeth a good thing". It explains to us that our husband/mate will find us and it will be a relationship that was meant to be. Keep the faith Kimberly.
